Learn to accept yourself for who you are and find a way to keep everything in balance.

 

I want to ensure that community fitness classes are available for all ages & levels of ability. It doesn’t matter if you are new to exercise completely or just want to try something new. I want to work with you to deliver classes which you find fun and enjoyable and help you to achieve your fitness goals.

My aim is to spend time getting to know each and every client and identify what you enjoy or don’t enjoy so we can build classes that work for everyone.

After spending many years struggling with weight management and hating my body I am finally learning to accept myself for who I am and found a way to keep everything in balance. I have discovered the huge impact that self-care and exercise have had on my mental health and feel so much more positive when I am looking after myself.

I have tried every diet going over the years – some sensible, but some totally crazy like the cabbage soup diet back in the 90’s. I tried SlimFast™ but had the milkshakes as drinks to go with my meals as I felt deprived of food – surprisingly it didn’t work! I became totally obsessed with the scales and my mood for the day would be based on what the number said in a morning. If it wasn’t what I hoped to see I would spend the day beating myself up and talking negatively to myself. Again, this didn’t help me to achieve my goals!

I have found a way that is working for me and I would like to use my knowledge and experience to support other people to adopt healthier lifestyles and mindset. Stop focusing on the scales and focus on how you feel.

Classes Offered

Full Body Fitness Classes

Sarah’s full body fitness sessions are suitable for all abilities as you work at your own level. This class can be high impact for those who want to challenge themselves but equally suited to beginners who want an introduction to exercise.

This class is varied each week to keep it varied and fun but will always include cardiovascular and resistance exercises for a fully body workout. In the outdoor sessions we use a mixture of equipment, on zoom you just need a set of dumbbells and a mat.

HITT Walk

The HITT walk is a great class for everyone to join in – even those with babies in buggies! We walk a short distance carrying dumbbells for resistance and mix it up with short bursts of other exercises using our environment (trees, benches etc) this is a really sociable class as we have a chat whilst we walk.

Personal Training Package

Do you need a kickstart or boost to your workout regime? Finding it hard to get motivated or not seeing the results you would like to see?

Personal training can add the next level of intensity and support to help you reach your goals. Having a session once a week won’t be effective, it is important to exercise at least 3 times a week to see results therefore I encourage clients to commit to classes alongside PT with my Personal Training package.

1:1 PT session per week plus unlimited classes + weekly weight management session plus ongoing support with nutrition = £150 per month

Adhoc PT sessions = £35 per hour, payable by bank transfer 24hrs before the session takes place
